Meet the KR Equestrian Team

Kirista Rabain

Owner

Kirista Rabain is a Bermudian equestrian athlete and harness-racing driver whose passion for horses began at just four years old. What started as a childhood fascination grew into a lifelong vocation, ultimately establishing her as one of the most decorated equestrians in Bermuda.

Kirista’s career spans a remarkable range of disciplines; including show jumping, hunter classes, pleasure driving, and harness/pony racing, demonstrating both her versatility and deep understanding of the sport. Today, she is the proud owner of KR Equestrian, a professional horse-training and boarding stable that serves not only as the home base for her own competitive pursuits but also as a space for coaching and mentoring equine athletes. Her program is known for its inclusive, welcoming, and educational environment.

At the core of Kirista’s philosophy is horse welfare, trust, and relationship-building. She prioritizes connection over competition, believing that the bond between horse and driver is the foundation of every success in the ring.

In addition to her competitive and coaching achievements, Kirista also serves as Director of Events for the Bermuda Horse and Pony Association (BHPA), contributing to the continued growth and visibility of equestrian sport on the island.
